NFL Underdog Pick: Week 11

Kansas City Chiefs (+5.5) vs New Orleans Saints
Alright, something is going to have to give this week as I am 7-2 in games
played by the Chiefs and 2-7 in games played by the Saints. Unfortunately,
I had to learn the hard way when picking games involving the New Orleans Saints.
What I have learned is that the Saints are a terrible road team (0-4 so far in
2008). I look for the trend to continue this weekend as the Saints head
into Arrowhead field which is always a difficult place to play.
will be without Reggie Bush once again and Mike McKenzie, one of their best
defenders. The Saints were already ranked 26th against the pass with
McKenzie in the lineup. I can't believe I am going to say this but I
expect Tyler Thigpen to light it up this weekend. He threw for 3 TD's last
week in San Diego and has an even more favorable matchup against the Saints at
home. Larry Johnson is also due back for the Chiefs. With New
Orleans ranked #1 in offense, I predict this game will be a shootout and will
easily surpass the over/under of 50 points.
With the Chiefs losing their last 3 games by a total of just 8 points, its hard
to imagine the Saints coming into Arrowhead and covering a 5.5 point spread.
Take the Chiefs and the points.
