NFL Bargain Bets for Week 3

Tennessee Titans (+2.5) at New York Jets

OK, so last week I didn't think the Jets could use sheer emotion and will to overcome a better team. I was wrong.

This week I am using a similar strategy to take Tennessee vs. those same Jets. Don't get me wrong, I have nothing against the Jets. I actually love Rex Ryan, their defense, and their offensive line is shaping up. I just think that at some point there has to a letdown and I think this is a perfect week.

Tennessee needs this game - badly. Did you know that 65% of 0-2 teams do not make the playoffs and it approaches 80% for 0-3 teams. They just CANNOT afford to lose this game. Although the Titans lost last week (to offensive juggernaut Houston who I also love this week), but their running game showed signs of last year's attack.

I see the Jets letdown in a big way after their self-described 'Superbowl' they played last week. As a matter off fact, they are still talking about that win vs. talking about this week's game - always a bad sign. I think a little bit of a pass rush proves a little too much for Sanchez and crew.

I expect Tennessee to win this game outright.
