NFL Underdog Pick: Week 11
November 17th 2007 by Special K
Tennessee Titans (+2.5) at Denver Broncos
Even though I had a rough week 10 overall, my underdog pick of the week can not
be denied. The Atlanta Falcons came
through on the road in Carolina. This is the week of trial and error for
most teams which makes for some interesting plays. You've got
John Beck starting for the first time at Philadelphia and Brodie Croyle matched
up against the Colts. Meanwhile, the Raiders have decided to switch back to
Culpepper and deny Russell any opportunity and the Falcons may switch back to
Leftwich even after Joey Harrington won the last 2 games for them.
I am a huge fan of watching Reggie Bush against the Houston Texans this week. He is
carrying a chip on his shoulder and will show the Texans what they
missed out on when they passed him up in the draft.
However, the best underdog play of the week goes to the Titans. Vince
Young shines in the spotlight and if Haynesworth is able to play the Titans will
win easily. The Titans to me play very similar football to the Jaguars and
the Jaguars pounded the Broncos with a relentless running attack in week 3. The
Broncos are also 1-10 against the spread at home in their last 11 games and are
2-7 against the spread this year overall. |
