Who to Start: Week 7
October 17th 2007
by Special K

Here is a list of players who I think will produce the maximum amount of points at their position for the upcoming week.  The scoring system can be found at the bottom of this article.

Week 6 Comments: I was right on with Tom Brady last week. A personal high of 5 TD passes. T.J. also had a great week but was outdone by Braylon Edwards.  The Patriots receiving core will probably have similar success against Miami this week as well.

QB - Drew Brees

It is so hard not taking Brady again this week even though he has nightmare games in Miami. Drew Brees started to get back on track last week and I think he could put up around 3 TD's this week against Atlanta who has decided to use Leftwich over Harrington at QB.

RB -  Larry Johnson

The obvious running back selection this week would be Willie Parker against the struggling Broncos rush defense, but something tells me the Broncos are going to be ready this week. So I am going with Larry Johnson again this week. The Raiders looked dreadful against the run in San Diego last week.  I also like Willis McGahee against his former team, the Bills.

WR - Wes Welker

Brady will make sure Welker gets a score against his former team this week.  If he doesn't get a TD reception, he may just return a punt for a TD.

TE - Chris Cooley

He caught 9 passes last week against Green Bay and is a primary target in the red zone for Washington.

K - Adam Vinatieri

The Colts will find themselves settling for a lot of field goal attempts against the stingy Jags defense.

D - Washington Redskins

It is going to be an ugly game for the Cardinals if Tim Rattay starts again.
