Who to Start: Week 8

Here is a list of players who I think will produce the maximum amount of points
at their position for the upcoming week. The scoring system can be found
at the bottom of this article.
Week 7 Comments: I was right on with Wes Welker last week. Other than my tight
end pick once again, everyone I selected put up decent numbers.
QB - Derek Anderson
Yes everyone is saying that the Rams are hungry for a victory. I've seen them
play and it is going to take a lot for them to overcome this good Cleveland
team. I expect a shootout in the dome this week.
RB - LaDainian Tomlinson
If the Chargers are able to play the game, I like Tomlinson a lot. The
Texans defense is giving up over 122 on the ground this year.
WR - Torry Holt
If the makeshift offensive line can give Bulger enough time to hang in the
pocket, I expect Holt to have some big plays.
TE - Dallas Clark
I can't even come close picking a tight end this year. Hopefully, the steady
Clark comes through.
K - Phil Dawson
Going with my theory of a shootout in St Louis.
D - New York Giants
This defense is hot and they are going up against Lemon, Chatman, and Ginn.

20 Rushing Yards = 1
20 Reception Yards = 1
FG 50+ Yards = 4
Any FG = 3
Extra Point = 1
2 Point Conversion = 2

Interception = 2
Fumble Recovery = 2
TD = 6
Safety = 2
Block Kick = 2
Points Allowed 0 points = 10
Points Allowed 1-6 points = 7
Points Allowed 7-13 points = 4
Points Allowed 14-20 points = 1
Points Allowed 21-27 points = 0
Points Allowed 28-34 points = -1
Points Allowed 35+ points = -4 |
