Who to Start: Week
9
October 31th 2007 by Special K
Here is a list of players who I think will produce the maximum amount of points
at their position for the upcoming week. The scoring system can be found
at the bottom of this article.
Week 8 Comments: Maybe I should just default the QB slot to Tom Brady each week.
He is on a mission this year. It is not often you give LT a thumbs down
either especially when his team scored 35 points.
QB - Tom Brady
The two best QB plays of the week are Peyton Manning and Tom Brady. I'm
going with Tom Brady this week as the Patriots like to pass near the goal line
while the Colts utilize Addai.
RB - Shaun
Alexander
Stephen Jackson would of had a huge game against the Browns if he didn't get
injured. I think this is may be Alexander's breakout game. If you
are looking for a fantasy running back to pick up for the bye week, check out
Selvin Young. He had 120 total
yards against Green Bay and the Lions defense gives up more yards.
WR - Terrell Owens
Last year Owens was kept in check in both games by the Eagles defense.
However, this is a new year with a new coaching staff and I expect Owens to go
off against his former mates.
TE - Antonio
Gates
I think Gates has another huge game this week as the Vikings are pretty good
against the run and not that effective against the pass.
K - Neil Rackers
The Arizona Cardinals should get in the red zone against the Buccaneers but will
have to settle for field goals.
D - Jacksonville Jaguars
I am going with the Jaguars this week. Yeah, yeah the Saints are on a roll but
they were playing the 49ers and Falcons. The Jaguars are a much tougher team and
they were even able to get interceptions off Jeff Garcia who didn't throw any
before last week.
