New York Giants (+3) at New Orleans Saints

Remember the days when Saints fans used to show up to games wearing paper bags over their heads? Thanks to Drew Brees and Sean Peyton, the Aints of the past can no longer be found in New Orleans. Let's be serious here, as a Saints fan, you know things are really too good to be true now and that disappointment awaits you.

We all know that the only team the Giants can't beat are the Philadelphia Eagles.  Lately, the Giants time after time have risen up to the occasion in big games. The Jets had a lot of success stopping the Saints #3 ranked offense and so will the Giants. The Jets held the Saints to just one offensive TD in week 4. I look for the #1 ranked defense in the NFL to do the same in this game. The Giants have a more physical team on both offense and defense. Having this control of the line of scrimmage will be the deciding edge in this game. 

Don't expect Eli Manning and the Giants to be giving touchdowns away like Sanchez and the Jets did either. Manning has hopefully learned from his mistakes in dealing with Darren Sharper in the past. Sharper intercepted Eli 3 times back in 2005, one of those interceptions went for a 92 yard TD.  Sharper also returned an INT against Manning for a TD in 2007.

Well maybe you have the argument that the Saints are coming off a bye week and had plenty of time to prepare for this game. The Giants practically had a bye week themselves having played the Raiders plus the Saints are 0-4 ATS in their last 4 games following a bye week.
