Seattle Seahawks (+10) vs New Orleans Saints

Ten points is the largest homedog point spread in a playoff game that I could find. I researched recent playoff homedogs and the biggest spread was only three points. Everyone is expecting the Saints to just come in and walk all over the Seahawks since they beat the Seahawks by 15 back in week 11 at New Orleans. However, I believe this game will be much tighter than people expect. It is not an easy task traveling to the Northwest and playing in the loudest outdoor stadium in the NFL. The Seahawks were a respectable 5-3 at home during the regular season.  Since that last matchup against the Seahawks, the Saints have put Chris Ivory, Pierre Thomas, and Courtney Roby (their very kickoff return man) on IR. The Saints might also be without Malcolm Jenkins, their big play cornerback and defensive tackle Anthony Hargrove. Meanwhile, the Seahawks offense will get a boost with veteran Matt Hasselbeck returning and their wide receivers are all finally healthy. Drew Brees is going to have to carry the team on his shoulders as I look for the Saints to be one dimensional, throwing on every down. 
The Seahawks defense is much better than people give them credit for. Raheem Brock and Chris Clemons have combined for 20 sacks, David Hawthorne and Lofa Tatupu are solid linebackers, and Earl Thomas has been a beast at safety.

The Seahawks biggest edge comes on special teams. The Seahawks kicking game is better with Mare vs Hartley and don't be surprised to see Leon Washington take one to the house which just completely electrifies the fans and stadium. I like the Seahawks chances this Saturday.
