NFL Underdog Pick: Week 8
October 27th 2007 by Special K
Buffalo Bills (+3) at New York Jets
Forget the points,
I like the Buffalo Bills to win outright this week versus the New York Jets and
sweep the season series. I went with the New York Jets last week against
the Cincinnati Bengals and got burned. Jets fans will be chanting for
Kellen Clemens mid-way into the 1st quarter.
The Buffalo Bills strength of schedule so far this year has been #1, so a game
against the Jets will seem like a walk in the park. The Bills have played
teams with a combined record of 24-9, if you exclude the first game the Bills
played the Jets. The Jets have also reported that their Pro Bowl linebacker
Jonathan Vilma is out for the game. This will leave a void in the already
weak Jets defense and the Bills should be able to control the game on the ground
with Marshawn Lynch. Lynch had 79 yards and a TD in the first game and
should post better numbers this week. |
