Free Fantasy Football Tight End Cheat Sheet
We have ranked the top tight ends for the 2008 Fantasy Football draft.
Right now Antonio Gates is probably the riskiest #1 position player in the
draft. Gates is still experiencing discomfort in his toe, a injury he
obtained last season. You won't go wrong drafting Jason Witten, if you
have any doubts about Gates.
Sleeper Pick: Dustin Keller
We all know how much Brett Favre likes to target his tight ends in the red zone.
Donald Lee was a prime example of this last season as he ranked 6th in overall
TD catches for tight ends. Favre is now reunited with his longtime
teammate Bubba Franks but the Jets are looking towards the future with Dustin
Keller. Keller was the Jets 30th draft pick this year and has playmaking
abilities. Keller is 6' 2", athletic, and quick which will create
several matchup issues for defenses this season.
Potential Bust:
Jeremy Shockey
Will playing for a new team revitalize Jeremy Shockey this season? The
expectations are high but remember that Shockey is recovering from a broken leg.
