Free Fantasy Football Wide Receiver Cheat Sheet

We have ranked the top wide receivers for the 2008 Fantasy Football draft.  2008 has already been an interesting pre-season at the Wide Receiver position.  Steve Smith and Brandon Marshall are missing games due to suspension.  Chad Johnson expressed his frustration with the Bengals over the offseason.  Terrell Owens has transformed into a complete team player.  Is Marvin Harrison's knee ok?

2008 might also be the year that younger receivers like Braylon Edwards, Larry Fitzgerald, and Marques Colston oust veterans Randy Moss, Terrell Owens, and Reggie Wayne from the top of the rankings.

Sleeper Pick:  Jerricho Cotchery
Believe it or not, Cotchery actually had 1130 receiving yards last season for the Jets offense. With Brett Favre behind center and a much improved offensive line, Cotchery should find the red zone more often this season.

2nd Sleeper Pick:  Nate Burleson
With Bobby Engram not due back until after the bye week, Deion Branch still injured, and D.J. Hackett's departure due to free agency, Burleson should see a lot of balls thrown his way early on this season.  The Seahawks 2nd receiver right now is Courtney Taylor.

Potential Bust:  Brandon Marshall
Marshall was 6th in overall receiving yards last season and is probably worthy of a top 10 draft pick. However, he can not be trusted due to all his off the field issues.
