NFL Best Bets for Week 13

Yes, this is two weeks in a row we're going to pick on the lowly Cardinals.
Last week was such a gift that the Rams were getting points and beat the
Redbirds by a score of 31-17. This one won't be much different. Although we have
to give a few measly points we get the home team this week and the Cardinals
offense could very well be in worse shape than even last week.
Once again, the Cards are starting their rookie, third string QB who threw 4
interceptions and two pick sixes last week. It may not be that bad for him this
week . . . . it could be worse. The Cards lost another lineman to injury last
week, their center. The Jets should get a good pass rush and keep Lindley off
balance again all day. The Cards could not run the ball last week and should
have similar troubles again this week.
What about the Jets offense you ask? Who cares . . . . I expect the Jets defense
to outscore the Redbird offense!
I set the over/under on number of times the TV guys say "ground n' pound" in
this game at 7.5. This one should feel like someone turned the clocks back a
couple of years.
Can anyone believe that these same Cardinals started the season at 4-0 and some
prognosticators had them in their top ten??? Raise your hand if you hate the
guys who do power rankings but the teams are always just in the general order of
their overall records. Joke! Cardinals are a bottom 5, maybe bottom 3 team right
now.
