NFL Best Bets for Week 14

Many people picked against KC due to the player death last week thinking
that the emotional toll would be felt on the field. Those people were right and
wrong! They were right that that kind of event can't help but to affect the
players and their abilities to be at their best on the game day. However, they
were wrong about the timing. Because the event was the day before the game the
impact was minimal.
However, this week, that impact will be felt. The Chiefs left it all on the
field last week with their emotional, draining upset win. This week was the
drain - the funeral, the burial, the true impact of the loss, that has all
transpired since last Sunday's game and will take its toll this week. Like any
big game, usually there is a letdown the following week.
I expect the Chiefs to be totally flat in this game. Joe Haden should take away
Dwayne Bowe, the Chiefs only real receiving threat. The Browns should pound the
ball all day. I expect Trent Richardson to have a monster game.
