NFL Underdog Pick for Week 17

St. Louis Rams (+11.5) at Seattle Seahawks

There are four double digit favorites in week 17. Of the four, I really like the Rams chances to cover the most. I'll take 11.5 points with a Jeff Fisher coached team any day (unless they are playing in the snow in Foxboro).

Even with 4 Carson Palmer turnovers last week, the Seahawks couldn't put points on the board. The Seahawks offense has really struggled lately. The main reason is because they are missing their top playmakers Harvin and Rice on the outside. Plus, the offensive line has not looked good.  Like the Cardinals and the 49ers who just beat the Seahawks, the Rams bring a formidable defensive front into Seattle.  Last time these two teams met, Robert Quinn had three of his league-leading 18 sacks.

Ironically, the Rams finished the 2012 season beating the Bucs in week 16 followed by a loss to the Seahawks in week 17, 17-10. I'm predicting that this game will also be low scoring and a close one as well. The Rams are going to make it tough for the Seahawks to clinch the #1 seed.
