Here is my prediction, RG III has just played his last game as a Redskin. From
what I have seen, Kirk Cousins is a much better fit for the Redskins offense.
Cousins is a better pocket passer and can drive the ball down the field to the
likes of DeSean Jackson. It sounds like Jackson isn't going to miss this game no
matter how injured he is which is good news for my pick.
What has been the biggest surprise so far in the 2014 season for the Redskins?
Their defense. Yes the Redskins rank #1 in total yards allowed, #1 in sacks, #1
in red zone defense, #1 in pass yards allowed. Yes, I understand that the
Redskins played the Jags and Texans, two teams with weak offenses but the
Redskins defense did hold the Texans to 115 yards rushing on only 3.4 yards per
carry on the road. The Redskins defense should be able to contain the Eagles
dink and dunk offense and keep this game close.
The Eagles are coming off of a another comeback win against the Colts on Monday.
A win aided by some sketchy officiating late in the game. Yeah, I had picked the

good football together. Until the Eagles can play an entire 48 minutes, I like
my chances with all the points that the Redskins are getting this week.
