After a week 13 loss to the Cowboys, the Redskins were pretty much written off
at 5-7. Three weeks later and the Redskins are playing for the NFC East divisional
title. Kirk Cousins is actually playing like a franchise QB. Believe it or not,
Cousins has the highest completion percentage of any QB in the NFL. Cousins is
very comfortable in the Redskins offense. Also, having a healthy Jordan Reed and
DeSean Jackson makes a huge difference. DeSean Jackson missed the previous game
against the Eagles but last year he torched his former team for 200+ yards and a
touchdown in two games. Meanwhile, the Eagles to me have no identity as a
offense or a team. The Eagles aren't consistent enough to make Chip Kelly's
offense work thus putting a lot of pressure on their defense. The secondary is
struggling right now and with Maxwell potentially out, I expect a lot of big
plays in the Redskins passing game this week.
