NFL Underdog Pick Week 17
December 29th 2016
- Special K

Baltimore Ravens
(+1) at Cincinnati Bengals

Yes, the Ravens season ended last week at Pittsburgh and now they have to travel on the road again to play in a meaningless football game against the Bengals. When picking week 17 games you really need to find a motivation angle since most players are more concerned about tee times and cleaning out their lockers.

What is the Ravens motivation going to be for this week 17 game?
Stevonne Latrall Smith Sr. says he is about 89 percent sure he is going to retire.

With over 1000 career receptions (12th all time) and almost 15,000 yards receiving (7th all time), I expect the fiery and competitive Smith to wrap up a great career with a victory. I would expect nothing less.

Besides, the Bengals ownership has pretty much resigned to the fact that they don't care about winning by telling AJ Green to sit on the bench. Green isn't even bothering to show up to team meetings anymore. Effiert, Hill, Burflict are also out. This leaves the Bengals offense with LaFell, Boyd and Burkhead.  I can't see the Bengals scoring more than 13 points in this one.

The Ravens started as a 2.5 point underdog but that has dropped down to a single which is great value.

Take the Ravens and the point while it lasts
