NFL Underdog Pick Week 7

Denver Broncos (+1) at LA Chargers

I do my own lines each week and this is another game that I think Vegas has the wrong team favored. I'm scratching my head as to how the Chargers are even the favorite in this football game. It might have something to do with the Chargers win at Oakland and the Broncos pathetic loss against the Giants. Maybe the oddsmakers are factoring in LA as being home field advantage for the Chargers but I hardly agree with one theory.

Like Packers fans, Broncos fans travel well. Besides who wouldn't want to get away from 40 degree weather in Denver and come hang out in LA.  I expect StubHub stadium will be more of a home field advantage for the visiting Broncos than the Chargers. Besides, LA seems to be more in love with the Rams than the Chargers and San Diego fans are still bitter about the move.

I know the Broncos are banged up on the offensive line and Sanders is out but I still expect them to bounce back after a really embarrassing loss to the Giants. The Broncos have covered in 5 out of their last 6 on the road against the Chargers. The Broncos will get their running game going this weekend and their defense will force SD into kicking field goals. In case you are wondering, I had the Broncos favored by 3 points.

Take the Broncos and the point while it lasts
