Oakland Raiders (+3) vs SF 49ers
I think this might actually be the worst football game ever scheduled in prime
time. The Battle of the Bay features arguably two of the worst teams in
the NFL right now. Both teams are a combined 2-13 and both teams had
expectations of making the playoffs. Well, the Raiders did until they dealt Mack
away to the Bears.
If Chucky can't beat the hapless 49ers then it is time for the Raiders to ask
for a $100M refund.
The 49ers might be without their backup QB Beathard who has won only 1 NFL game
so maybe that is a good thing. Who is the 49ers backup QB anyways, Nick Mullens?
He is from Southern Mississippi. Hmmm, the next Brett Favre? I doubt it. I
haven't seen a Kap sighting around Levi's Stadium either so I think we are all
good here.
Listen, I have to back the team that has a real QB and is getting points in this
one. Sure the Raiders defense is atrocious but at least I know the Raiders
offense can move the football and score points. Like Philip Rivers, Derek Carr
gets fired up for every football game. He has pride and hopefully the rest of
the Raiders do to.
