First week of the NFL season is about preparedness. So, which QB and team do you
think is more prepared - Rodgers and Green Bay or Trubisky and Chicago? On the
surface it is always easiest to remember great quarterbacks at the peak of their
career and feel that they have some mighty power over greener up and comer's.
However, Aaron Rodgers is in a new offense for the first time in many years, and
based on his comments earlier this week, he is already making excuses about how
they will need 'grow into the offense'. That sure sounds to me like a guy that
doesn't sound too confident heading into week 1.
I like the Bears at home with a much better defense than the Packers and the
Bears offense just starting to get used to Matt Nagy's offense.

San Fransisco always travels well early in the season. And Jimmy G. is finally
fully healthy with a nice chunk of time to get used to the SF offensive game
plan. TB may have the worst defense in the league and they did nothing to get
better. SF defense is getting better and should be a top 10 defense this year. I
like the intellect of Jimmy over the skill set of Jameis.
